1.

Q: Is this a continuous process?

A: Yes. The newly updated design has successfully passed all factory testing, proving out the calculated data for the continuous process.

2.

Q: Does your facility use a vacuum or inert gases in the reactor chamber?

A: No. Vacuum or inert gases are not necessary. In the early stages of tire pyrolysis, a vacuum or inert gases were used but now are not required.

3.

Q: What is the plant's optimum operating time? 8-12-16-24 Hrs?

A: We suggest to operate the plant 24/7. This will be more efficient in terms of energy savings.

4.

Q: What kind of maintenance can be expected or is required?

A: We suggest that every three months, shut the plant down to do maintenance; inspections, repairs, cleaning, etc.

5.

Q: What is the life cycle of the plant?

A: We estimate a life expectancy of at least 10 years.

6.

Q: Is there any specialty training required? Who requires it and who can provide it?

A: Yes. Upon purchase and installation, we provide factory technicians to implement training. Depending on the terms of the sale, a technician may be with the facility for one year. After one year, we offer a service contract tailored to suit your requirements.

7.

Q: Is there additional information available?

A: Yes. We are in the processing of making a video that you will be able to view from this site. Other sales and informational data is being prepared.

8.

Q: Is it possible to see an operating facility?

A: Yes. Depending on your location. Please e-mail us with your business information and we will promptly respond.

9.

Q: Won't the burning tires make a lot of smoke and smell bad?

A: No. The tires are melted, not burned, inside the reactor and the vessel is sealed from the outside air. No smoke or smell is vented to the outside enviroment.

10.

Q: The tires are melted, then what?

A: The tires are melted and that generates gases that are condensed to make the fuel oil. Some of the gas is recycled as fuel to the heating system. What then remains is the carbon black and steel braid (if you preprocess the tires to remove the steel braid before the tires are placed in the reactor, then you would have minimum steel braid remaining in the carbon black). The steel braid is then removed from the carbon black. The carbon black can be further processed as desired. The carbon black, fuel oil and steel braid can be sold.

11.

Q: How much space in required for a 30 ton/day facility?

A: Our prototype facility is located on approx. 2 acres (8100 sq. meters) of land and there is ample room for the tires, offices, carbon black packaging and fuel oil storage tanks.
